Masha is a Ukrainian girl on a mission - to share the Russian musical culture with the world. She’s been performing on stage since she was just four years old, and now as an international opera singer she’s got her target on her back. Don't be afraid to have a listen because you're sure to find something new to love in this list! _____ Cp Masha Babko Wmv During the summer of 2009, Masha decided that it was time for her own solo career. Since then, she has gone on many tours across Europe. Her vocal repertoire includes over sixty pieces in multiple languages, and she sings both in English and Ukrainian. In 2011, Masha performed the role of Violetta in "La traviata" for two seasons at the prestigious Terni opera house in Italy. She has performed at famous theatres such as Paris Opera Garnier, Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia, and many others. In 2013 Masha took part in the competition Bright Stars of White Nights (Белые Ночи). There she was chosen out of 170 singers from all over Russia to perform with Valery Gergiev and Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra during their tour across Europe. Masha is also a participant of the competition Stars of the White Nights Festival (Звёзды Белых Ночей). Masha finished her undergrad at National Music Academy of Ukraine named after P.I. Tchaikovskiy in Kyiv, where she studied with Prof. Larisa Antonova, then she went to Haute Ecole de Musique La Chatelard, Switzerland to study with Prof. Michela Figini at the Opera Studio, class Opéra Lirica. She performed at the Baltic Sea Ballet Festival in St. Petersburg, Russia, where she was awarded the 1st prize. Masha has recorded several CDs. Her first one has 10 tracks, including pieces from Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov and Dvořák among others. Her second CD contains works by P.I. Tchaikovsky etc., as well as classical songs for children which are arranged to classical music themes and are played on instruments of different times. Toward the end of 2016 she has released her first album dedicated to 20 favorite Russian songs. It contains 17 tracks including the track "У Кареева" (On Karéev's Grave) dedicated to the great composer Sergei Rachmaninov. cfa1e77820
